Trash Is Trucked to the Landfill

Here are some things you should not flush.

  • Baby Wipes – Even if they say they are flushable, they are not!
  • Plastics – Band-Aids and Q-Tips belong in the trash.
  • Diapers (cloth or disposable) – They may be poopy, but the diaper does not break up in water.
  • Medicine – You can put your medicine in a plastic bag and throw it in the trash can, not the water. Protect the animals living in the river.

We haul a giant dumpster like this, full of trash, to the landfill almost every day. It would be better if we didn’t flush our trash.
